Chocolate

Who can resist this delicious treat? Not me, that's for sure. I used to love milk chocolate, but I've found that I'm lactose intolerant. No more milk. Does that mean you're foced to give up chocolate? No, not if you like dark chocolate. Actually, there are a lot of different varieties of dark chocolate. And the taste varies depending on sugar content and what sort of cocoa bean that's included.

Do you think you know what chocolate is? Not all types of candy that look like chocolate is in fact real chocolate. In order to count as chocolate, the product needs to contain both cocoa mass and cocoa butter. Besides, the cocoa content needs to reach a certain level. Each country makes its own special type of chocolate. Belgium and Switzerland are great chocolate producers. These days I prefer Belgian chocolate, containing about 70 % cocoa.

I used to prefer Swedish and Finnish chocolate - milk chocolate (swiss chocolate was pretty good too). The cocoa content wasn't particularly high, but there was a lot of sugar. Despite that, sometimes I still miss the old milk chocoate days.

Filled chocolate can be yummy. For instance nuts and almonds. You can add other things too. Vanilla and orange are probably my favorites, but you can also get mint, cinnamon and even coffee. If you've been eating chocolate and just didn't want to stop? Then your chocolate must have contained vanilla. That combination seems to be extremely addictive.
